Captain Joe Tinsley will provide you with an exciting guided fishing experience along the historical Potomac River and beautiful Chesapeake Bay. The Potomac River is a one of the most renowned tidal bodies of water in the United States, that offers the fishing community bountiful vegetation, submersed trees and brush creating gem fishing spots. A guided fishing adventure with Potomac Joe’s will take you out onto a beautiful body of water where you will experience catching a wide variety of fish to include Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Crappie, Perch, Snakehead and other general salt/fresh water fishing. Along the Potomac River you will see historical Washington D.C. sites, the newly sanctioned Mallows Bay that protects the more than 100-year-old WWI era wooden steamships and vessels as well as Mount Vernon, Fort Washington and many more historical sites. Nature and wildlife will surround you, Bald Eagles, Osprey, ducks and much more.
I have been fishing the Potomac River for more than 30 years, I grew up on the water learning how to salt-water fish with my family and at 15 found my love for bass fishing; I purchased my first boat, joined a local bass fishing club, and haven’t left the water since. Quickly thereafter I found the thrill of tournament fishing, have fished a wide range to include the Maryland B.A.S.S. Federation and represented Maryland on the State team, Bass Fishing League (BFL), Fishing League Worldwide (FLW), American Bass Anglers (ABA) and local tournaments. With my many hours on the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, it allows me the opportunity to share with you my knowledge and experience with you to ensure your guided fishing trip is an exciting adventure.
